Shurr, Teacher – IB/MYP Coordinator Oberlin High School wrapped up International Education Week, Friday, November19th with a performance by the Oberlin College Taiko. “ Oberlin College Taiko aims to share an appreciation and understanding of the traditional art form of Japanese Taiko Drumming, to foster a strong and respectful community, and to inspire a sense of discipline of the mind, body and spirit.” The OC Taiko featured traditional drum arrangements and new pieces.
